Your journal is yours alone.

What we collect, what we don't, and why the answer to most of it is nothing.

The short version

  • Your journal entries stay on your device. Nothing you write — intentions, moods, gratitude, reflections, thoughts, worries — is ever uploaded.
  • No account required.We don't know who you are. We don't want to.
  • We do collect anonymous app analytics. Crash reports, screens visited, app version — never the words you wrote. This lets one person (Raí) keep the app working.
  • Uninstall = delete everything. There's nothing on our side to keep.
  • Email signups stay separate. If you give us your email on the website, we store it with Resend just to send you the occasional update. Unsubscribe in one click — link in every email.

Information collection and use

This privacy policy applies to the Just for Today app (the “Application”), created by Raí Adriano (the “Service Provider”) as a free service. It is intended for use as is.

The Application collects technical information when you download and use it. This information may include:

  • Your device's Internet Protocol address (IP address)
  • The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages
  • The time spent on the Application
  • The operating system you use on your mobile device

The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.

The Service Provider may use the information you provide to contact you from time to time with important information, required notices, and product updates.

Third-party access

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help the Service Provider improve the Application. The Application uses third-party services that have their own privacy policies:

The Service Provider may disclose collected information when required by law (e.g. subpoena or similar legal process), in good faith to protect the rights or safety of the Service Provider, users, or others, or with trusted service providers acting on the Service Provider's behalf.

Opt-out rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it. Use the standard uninstall process on your device or in the app store.

Data retention

The Service Provider will retain user-provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time afterward. To request deletion of any data you have provided, contact raivieiraadriano92@gmail.com and a response will be sent in a reasonable time.

Children

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child has provided such information, please contact the Service Provider so that necessary action can be taken.

Security

The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information it processes and maintains.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted is deemed approval of those changes.
