Information collection and use

This privacy policy applies to the Just for Today app (the “Application”), created by Raí Adriano (the “Service Provider”) as a free service. It is intended for use as is.

What never leaves your device

Everything you write in the Application — intentions, moods, gratitude entries, reflections, released thoughts and worries — is stored on your device and nowhere else. It is not uploaded, not backed up to the Service Provider, and not sent to any third party. The Service Provider cannot read it and holds no copy of it.

What is collected

The Application collects a small amount of anonymous technical and usage information, so that crashes can be found and fixed:

• Crash and error reports, including the sequence of screens that preceded the crash
• Which screens of the Application are opened, and when (collected by Vexo, below)
• The Application version, your device model, and your operating system version

None of this is tied to an account, because there are no accounts. None of it includes the content of anything you write.

When your device contacts the diagnostic services listed below, those services see the IP address the request came from — this is true of any internet connection and cannot be avoided. The Service Provider does not use IP addresses to identify you, does not store them separately, and does not combine them with anything else.

The Application does not collect precise location and contains no advertising SDKs. It does not show ads, and it does not sell your data or share it for advertising or marketing purposes.

It does share a device or installation identifier with the diagnostic, analytics and subscription providers listed below. They need it to group events from one device — so that a single crash is not counted as hundreds, and so a subscription can be restored on a device you already own. That identifier is not your name, your email, or an advertising ID, and it is never attached to anything you write.

Third-party services

These are the third-party services the Application and this website rely on. Each has its own privacy policy, and none of them receive anything you write:

• Expo — the framework the Application is built with, and the service that delivers updates to it. Sees app version, device model and operating system version.
• Sentry — crash and error reporting. Sees the error itself, the screens visited before it, and the same device and version details.
• Vexo — anonymous product analytics. Records which screens are opened and when, together with an installation identifier, device model and app version. It never receives the content of an entry.
• RevenueCat — manages the optional subscription across both stores. Sees an anonymous app user identifier and your subscription status. It never receives your card details or anything you write.
• Google Play Services and Google Play Billing — required on Android for installing and updating the Application, and for processing the optional support subscription. Google processes the payment; the Service Provider never sees your card details and receives only anonymous, aggregated sales figures.
• Apple App Store — handles installs, updates and the optional support subscription on iOS. Apple processes the payment; the Service Provider never sees your card details and receives only anonymous, aggregated sales and crash figures.
• Resend — website only, and only if you enter your email address for updates. Holds that address until you unsubscribe.

The Service Provider may disclose collected information when required by law (e.g. subpoena or similar legal process), in good faith to protect the rights or safety of the Service Provider, users, or others, or with trusted service providers acting on the Service Provider's behalf.

Purchases

The Application is free. It offers an optional subscription that supports development and unlocks no part of the journal — every exercise works without it. Subscriptions are bought, renewed and cancelled entirely through the App Store or Google Play, under those stores' own terms and privacy policies. The Service Provider receives no payment details and cannot link a purchase to anything you wrote.

Opt-out rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it. Use the standard uninstall process on your device or in the app store.

Data retention

The Service Provider retains none of what you write, because none of it is ever received. There is nothing on this side to delete, and nothing that could be produced on request. Uninstalling the Application permanently removes everything you wrote.

The anonymous diagnostic data described above is held by the providers that collect it, under their own retention schedules, and is not identifiable to you.

If you gave your email address on the website, it is held by Resend until you unsubscribe. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, or you can ask for it to be removed by writing to raivieiraadriano92@gmail.com.

Children

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child has provided such information, please contact the Service Provider so that necessary action can be taken.

Security

The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information it processes and maintains.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted is deemed approval of those changes.

Effective 3 October 2026.

Your consent

By using the Application you consent to the processing of your information as set out in this Privacy Policy, now and as it is amended.
